Civil engineering is one of the oldest field of engineering that deals with the planning, construction and maintenance of fixed structure or public works which are related to earth, water, civilization and their process of development. Majority of projects like power plant, bridge, roads, railway structures, water supply irrigation, the natural environment, sewer, flood control transportation and traffic are dealt by Civil Engineering.
In essence, its only civil engineering due to which world has progress to the stone era to very recent ages of modern construction. Currently the department has the intake capacity of 60 in B. Tech program.
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering offers Bachelor of Technology programme with an intake of 60 students. The Department has a comprehensive curriculum on topics related to all aspects of Computer Hardware and Software with an emphasis on practical learning. The course structure is up-to-date and includes courses on promising topics to equip our students with the latest developments in Computer Science. Our faculty members aim at delivering top class education blending their rich research experience with classroom teaching.
Electrical Engineering plays an important role in all the branches of Engineering and Science. It deals with electrical transducers, PC based instrumentation system & control systems etc. The department has learned faculty which keeping itself side by side with latest developments in this area. All the laboratories of the department are well equipped with sophisticated instruments and machines.
The Department has dedicated faculty members for taking care of academic and other requirements of the students. It offers B. Tech. in Electronics Engineering. The Department is having well equipped labs and software for Virtual Instrumentation, PCB Design, Signal Processing, Digital electronics lab. Various extracurricular activities are regularly organized by the students under the aegis of Association of Electronics Engineers for their overall development.
The Faculty members of the Department are continuously involved in R & D activities with their research students. Several National Level Seminars, Conferences, Faculty Development Programs, Expert Lectures, Workshops etc. have been organized by the Department.
RAJKIYA ENGINEERING COLLEGE
Rajkiya Engineering College, Kannauj was established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in the year 2015 with four branches, Electrical Engg, Electronics Engg, Civil Engg and Computer Science & Engg with annual intake of Sixty (60) in each branch.
